Let us take this opportunity to introduce you to the Waverly Riptide Baseball Organization. Established in 2009, this organization has a proud tradition of developing boys’ baseball skills, as well as a history of fielding competitive teams that enjoy success locally and regionally. Even more importantly, the organization has a positive impact on the lives of young men in the community and their families.

This year we will be fielding 8 teams (100+ players) ranging from 8U to 14U, we are offering an opportunity for businesses like yours to become Team Sponsors.

Your tax deductible contributions will be targeted exclusively to lower the growing costs of the organization’s local players, enabling them to fully participate in training programs, local Tournaments, regional Tournaments as well as State Tournaments. Our goal is to help these young boys develop the skills necessary to play at the High School and hopefully even College level. The Waverly Riptide Baseball organization is guided by an un-paid Board of Directors, volunteer coaches and dedicated parents. Our primary revenue source is registration fees paid by families and donations received from generous individuals and businesses. Since these funds do not cover all of the operating expenses, families often must raise their own funds to pay for equipment, training fees, field rentals, umpires, and tournament entry fees.  The average cost per player per year to participate is $850, making it particularly difficult for families with more than one player and/or living on modest means. In order to continue to make this rewarding experience a reality for our boys, we are reaching out directly to area businesses, family and friends, and offering the opportunity to help by becoming a team sponsor!
